The constructive, efficient, and seamless collaboration within the framework of the Center of Excellence for Green ICT @ FMD GreenICT Competence Centre’s validation project proved highly valuable for SENTECH in determining the carbon footprint of a high-end plasma etching system. Through this process, we gained a deeper understanding of the life cycle assessment of our products, which supports our efforts toward sustainable product development. In addition, we benefited significantly from the learning process, particularly with regard to understanding the data requirements necessary to conduct a comprehensive life cycle assessment.
