In order to inspire aspiring scientists to pursue careers in microelectronics and, in particular, green ICT, the Green ICT Award was presented once a year between 2023 and 2025. The \u201cGreen ICT @ FMD\u201d competence center rewarded outstanding student theses in the field of resource-efficient information and communication technology. The study award was initiated by the Research Factory Microelectronics Germany (FMD)<\/span><\/a>, which aims to answer the questions of tomorrow with today's research activities in the field of microelectronics and attaches particular importance to the sustainable promotion of young talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our world is becoming increasingly complex, and research topics are becoming more complex. We need great enthusiasm from our youth today to look forward to tomorrow with excitement. In October 2025, the Green ICT Award was presented during Green ICT Connect 2025. The three winners were Negar Hajijalili (1st place), Pranay Jain (2nd place), and Daniel Hellmich (3rd place).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
